Here's a view of the motor installed with the original Scout wiper arm / blade. As you can see, it does extend a bit further out from the hood cowl (maybe 1/4" more) , but I don't see it as a problem.If you don't like the brass color, it can always be painted. I could trim the windshield rubber a bit to make the gasket sit flush.
